Nancy Baldwin's art and antique business is the product of a life long passion for horses, dogs, horse showing, foxhunting, horse racing, equine sports and animal wildlife. She has had no formal art training and, while in college after 2 classes, was politely asked to choose another elective. She admits she has no knowledge of actual art technique; she just "does it".
While developing two other professional careers, raising a family and breeding thoroughbreds, artistic endeavors were always pervasive in her life; In 1990 her sporting art became her main focus. She is proficient in painting canvases, not only animal portraits, but human portraiture as well. She has many generically inspired original paintings and giclees, while a large portion of her business is custom commissioned projects. Her Windland Farm antiques range from 1880's American primitives to lovely Queen Anne style pieces of furniture and unique table top pieces.
Nancy works from a studio on her farm in Pennsylvania and shows her gallery of items at two major equestrian events each year.
